There are four Operating Theatres in CHI at Temple Street and a small playroom to check in. We perform approximately 6000 operations a year and provide a twenty-four hour service with a staff of 40 staff, including nurses, nursery nurses, care attendants, nurses aids and porters.
The theatres cater for children from birth to 16 years. The types of operations include ear, nose and throat (ENT), plastic surgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedic, general, neonatal and kidney transplantation.
