Special precautions / Clinical Comment	Fresh urine required. Will only be analysed when clinical warranted (e.g. suspected tubulopathy, stone formation, or cystinuria). Clinical details must be provided for interpretations and appropriate follow-up. FOR REFERRING LABS:Urine pH should be measured. Where the pH≥8.5, microbial contamination is suspected, continue to dispatch urine sample to CHI at Temple Street and please request a repeat urine sample on the patient.
