HR591 Principal Clinical Psychologist
Part Time & Permanent contract (18.5 Hours)
A) (i) Hold a recognised University Degree or Diploma obtained with first or second class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.
(ii) Hold a recognised qualification equivalent to above
B) Hold a recognised post-graduate qualification in clinical psychology. Applicants should refer to the PSI Guidelines on Post Graduate Training & Qualifications revised April, 1998.
C) Have had at least seven years satisfactory post graduate experience in clinical psychology (inclusive of time spent in clinical training)
D) Have a minimum of four years’ experience of working directly with children including substantial experience working with children who have experienced abuse or neglect
E) Have relevant experience of working in a managerial capacity and in the provision of supervision
F) Possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability to discharge satisfactorily the duties of the office
G) Possess a high standard of professional attainment
- Clinical Supervision Training.
- Management Training.
- Clinical / Research experience in area of child sexual abuse.
- Experience in managing resources, developing KPIs etc.
- Innovative approach to service delivery.
- Management experience within a multi – disciplinary team.
