The following is the access criteria for admission to the service:
- A patient may be referred by a Medical Consultant, a Member of their Team or by other Health Care Professionals within CUH, with the knowledge and consent of the Consultant-in-Charge of the patient.
- All referrals for treatment must be made on the specific Audiology Referral Forms or by way of a written letter.
- All Referrals must be signed and dated by the referring professional.
- Currently, referrals are accepted from Consultant Neonatologists at the Rotunda Maternity Hospital for newborns with a high-risk of hearing loss.
The Audiology Department is located within St. Frances Clinic.
