Surgical Flat was recently refurbished with the help of the fundraising department, and the theme of the ward is based on the story of the Wizard of Oz which is reflected in the names of our rooms.
Surgical Flat cares mainly for surgical patients, including cases from;
- General Surgery
- Orthopaedics
- Plastic Surgery
- Ophthalmology
- Ear Nose and Throat Surgery including Cochlear Implants
A number of isolation cubicles are available primarily for infection control issues, where children need to be isolated for their own protection or the protection of others.
Our highly qualified staff provides a child centered and efficient service to you and your child during their stay. We do our utmost to protect the privacy and dignity of your child at all times during their stay.
