Celebrating HSCP Day 2021 in Children’s Health Ireland
There are approximately over 600 Health and Social Care Professionals (HSCPs) working across Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) hospitals across a multitude of professions like Dietetics, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Play Therapy, Radiography, Audiology, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Genetics, Departments of Paediatric Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Engineering, Social Work, Psychology, Neurophysiology, and the Chaplaincy Department.
HSCP Day celebrates the invaluable contribution our HSCPs make in the care and treatment of our patients in CHI hospitals. Today we acknowledge and celebrate HSCPs, and promote some of their roles to further the understanding about how each profession makes a difference in delivering the very best care, services and health outcomes to our patients.
Claire Browne CHI HSCP Director says “HSCP day is an opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the vital role that HSCP services play in the delivery of care to children attending CHI. A day like today allows us to highlight the diversity of roles that make up our team.”
To celebrate the day across CHI we’re sharing the details about some of the HSCP professions on CHI Twitter accounts:
