Peritoneal Dialysis: Training video for parents and families
A new video on peritoneal dialysis for parents and families is now available here. Peritoneal dialysis is a lifesaving treatment which is delivered at home under the guidance of the specialist nephrology team. In order for each child to safely receive PD at home, each parent/ guardian will complete a comprehensive training programme and on-going support provided by PD Nurse and multidisciplinary team. To assist with the training process and as an on-going reference tool, we have developed a comprehensive video detailing the step up, connection and disconnection procedure.
