Leading paediatric and neonatal clinicians brief Oireachtas members on exciting plans for new children’s hospital
More than 60 Oireachtas members and their staff attended an information session in the Dáil this week, (March 22, 2017) about the state-of the-art new children’s hospital project. Pictured with the Minister for Heath Simon Harris TD are the leading paediatric and neonatal clinicians who contributed to the briefing, which detailed the exciting innovations in healthcare delivery that will be provided in the new children’s hospital on a campus shared with St James’s Hospital, and the two new paediatric outpatients and urgent care centres at Connolly Hospital and Tallaght Hospital. The Master of the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital, which will also relocate to the St James’s Hospital campus, was also in attendance.
